SURESH NARAYANAN- SRCC Eco Hons (1976-1979)
The passing away of Prof Sundaram is the going away of a gentle era of kind , considerate , dedicated and nurturing teachers ๐๐๐ป โ Whyyy=See+Eyeโ is what got ingrained in my head !!
Memories flood back of this wonderful teacher and inspiring man ,and thank you does not quite capture the emotion ๐

MAHENDRASINH KIMCURRUN (MAURITIUS) SRCC Eco Hons (1975-78)
“I was reminiscing of SRCC and wondered what it would be like today.
KPM was its soul, as far as I can remember.
It is also true that the seeds he has sown have themselves sprouted and grown big enough to provide the shade of peace to his departed soul.
More than his brilliance as an academic, I treasure his kind heart.
Please convey my thoughts and deep grief to the family.
Om Shanti.”
ANAND MATHUR – SRCC Eco Hons ( 1975-78)
“๐๐Our deepest condolences to the family of the illustrious personality. ๐๐
His book was much easier to understand than Samuelson or Lipsey.
May his Soul Rest in Peace “
ANIL PURI- SRCC Eco Hons( 1975-78)
“A befitting tribute to the great teacher.
I must add his favourite line about the hostellers bunking classes โ
Students from across Delhi would make it for his class but hostellers would at times bunk his classes, to which he would comment โyou canโt blame the hostellers from missing classes. After all there is no bus service from the hostel to the college โ.
God bless his noble soul. Om Shanti”

Late Prof. KPM Sundharam was a legend in the field of Economics. He was an author par excellence. Tell me anyone who did B.Com or Economics Honours and could pass the exam without reading the text books written by Prof. Sundharam. Several of his students came to occupy high positions in varying fields in India and abroad, including politics and public life. Our former Finance Minister Arun Jaitely was his student in Sri Ram College of Commerce (who passed out with B. Com (H) in 1973). By God’s grace Prof. Sundharam lived a long life, and a life of great eminence, but his name and fame would live much longer, for ages. My heartfelt condolences to Shanti Sundharam and all family members.
